Dear
family and friends of Maurice Gibb,
I was
very sad when I heard about the
death of Maurice. The Bee Gees have
always been my favourite band as
long as I can remember. Rest in
peace.

Stephanie Martin (10 years old)

One great musician.

To dear
Robin and Barry
As a nurse
I understand the pain that the loss of
Maurice has brought to you. Life changes
when you lose one so close; I hope you
can both take comfort that you are not
alone in your pain. The world is
mourning with you. A light has gone out
but through you and the memories of
Maurice the light will shine again. I
have gained so much pleasure from your
music and performances as millions of
other people have. When the time is
right for you both the world will hear
from you again. Your music will ring out
and the world will welcome you both with
open arms.
Take care
and god bless.

Dear Robin
& Barry
I would just like to convey my condolences
and thank you for the wonderful joy you have
given to the world We shall pass through
this world but once. Any good, therefore,
that we can do or any kindness that we can
show to any human being, let us do it now.
Let us not defer nor neglect it, for we
shall not pass this way again. I think you
have fulfilled that 1000 times.
Martyn James Moore, UK
Robin,
I am very sad
to hear that Maurice had passed away. I know
it is hard to go through this as I have done
with my father in law last year. I loved to
dance and sing to your songs on the Live by
Request DVD that I have. Keep Maurice in
your mind always. My deepest sympathy.
Your biggest fan
Melissa Braldey,
Western Australia
May I say what a
great loss the music world has suffered in the
passing of such a great and versatile musician as
Maurice. Being a guitarist myself, the songs of the
BeeGees have influenced the style of music I play
and listen to more than I probably know! Have it in
your hearts that whereever people go in the world,
when it comes to having a good night out or party,
the songs of the BeeGees have become legendary as a
backbone of good music and good times. The music of
the BeeGees will live on forever!
Keep Rockin' up there,
Oakley, Essex

great influence on the type of music that we choose
to listen to in the heydays of Good Music, The Bee

family and fans.
Deep Regards

and Barry. They have many wonderful songs and I hope
that they get through this very sad and sorrowful
time.

I am terribly sorry to
hear about the passing of Maurice. I am an old rocker of
60 so my real love is rock & roll but I really liked all
the music the BeeGees did. He will be missed. God bless.
My condolences to the family.
Ted Hare
Another good musician down. We are so sorry to hear of
your sad loss, not only for you but for all the fans.
Love and best wishes
Amanda and Lal, Inverness, Scotland.
So shocked and sad at
the news today--his voice will be missed in every
way.
You worked so well to
give us pleasure, so many years we all must
treasure.
His talent so great
and without question, he rounded the trio to
complete perfection.
A great void just now
there is no doubt, but tears will pass--- what's it
about?
You do move on, but
where do you start-- Maurice still with you and love
in your heart.
Always at your side
forever and ever, so lucky to have shared such times
together.
All the very best to
you all

I an feeling so sad
at the death of your beloved brother Maurice, he was
a great person and a superb musician, the third cog
in a very big wheel. I have been a fan for almost
forty years and loved all the varied compositions
that you have produced over the years. It is a very
sad time for all true fans of the Bee Gees. My
heart, thoughts and prayers are with Maurice's wife
and children, to Barry and Robin and to the rest of
the family, at least they can take comfort in
knowing the legacy that he has left behind with his
music. There will never be another Maurice Gibb.
Rest in peace MAURICE
GIBB.

Please pass on our
condolences to the family of Maurice Gibb. I am
twelve years old and even though I am that young, I
am a huge fan. I hope Barry and Robin will have the
strength to carry on with their wonderful music. I
love all of their music and I'm sure that if they
carry on I will love all of their future music.

I grew up with the
BeeGees music and I have a lot of knowledge of
Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester. May I offer my
sincere sympathies to Maurice's wife and family and
the rest of the Gibb family, too. A loving husband,
father, son and brother has been tragically lost and
the world of music has lost a talented man.
Janet Helsby,
Altrincham, Cheshire, England
I just want to wish
Maurice's family all the best for the future and that I
shall be thinking of him and them today. Also I would
like to pay my respects to Barry and Robin with their
families too. Please keep up the great singing that you
do and I know that Maurice will be beside you in
everything that you do, just as Andy is. God Bless you
all.
All my Luv

I am
sorry what happened to your brother Maurice. He was too
young to die. I love the BeeGees. My mum loves you as
well. I've got posters of you which my mum had when she
was young and I've got all your CDs. I love you. I will
miss Maurice very
much but not as much as you and your family will miss
him. When he died I was upset so was my mum. My mum said
he was too young to die, the same as Andy your brother.
I've got the the bit of paper that was in the newspaper
on my wall with candles on .
I just want to say I really am sorry for you and
Maurice's family. All my love.
Natalie
This is from someone
who has never attempted to contact celebrities. I
believed that was too ridiculous. But I felt I MUST
write to express my great, great sadness at the loss
of Maurice. It is so tragic. May Barry and Robin
and Maurice's family eventually find peace and I
sincerely hope that Barry and Robin will continue as
the BeeGees in his memory. The BeeGees are the most
outstanding musical popular performers and writers -
why some people don't agree I will never know.
Yours sincerely.
Peggy Jackson
I have just been told
the news and I have not heard the full reports and I am
however a silent admirer of everything the BeeGees have
achieved. I am so sorry to hear today of the death of
Maurice - my sincere condolences to his immediate family
and to the wider Gibb family who I hope will continue to
entertain so many people in this world. You are much
loved and much thought of at this sad time.
Denise Binks
Dear Robin & Barry
Having grown up with your music from day one it was a
sad day to see the passing of Maurice. While it still
early days in his memory I hope you will continue to
provide and influence the music industry as you have
done for the last 30yrs. Yours sincerely.
David Bussey
To all the family of
Maurice, I would just like to convey my condolences and
to say that Maurice will be sadly missed. Your music is
so sweet, your sound was unique. I love your song
Immortality and I think that this would be a beautiful
song to make us understand how we are feeling. I lost my
father 6 years ago and i am still missing him now. Your
brother was a star and if you look he is now the
brightest.
Juliet Jones, a Bee Gees fan
Hello. I'm sorry that
your brother Maurice died and I am the biggest fan you
will ever have. I have got all of your records and I
watch any programs that come on the television about
you. I also tape them so I am able to watch them over
and over again. I also think that you are the best the
music industry ever made.
Kara Manoglu
Our deepest sympathy
for the loss of Maurice. Our thoughts, love and
prayers are with you always. We are your biggest
fans in South Africa and you have entertained us for
many years. We hope that you will be there for us
for many years to come. With best regards and all
our love to you all.
Heila & Yvonne
A man of my time, I
shall miss him. But I hope you continue in his memory,
like he will in ours.
Helen & Ken, Catford, London
To Robin Gibb,
I have just watched
and recorded the BBC programme of the Bee Gees (Top
of the Pops) and I just want to express my deepest
sympathies to you and all the family on the untimely
death of Maurice. I truly love your music and I
never realised how talented a songwriter Maurice
was. It must be very difficult to talk about
someone who was so close to you in the past tense
and I can understand all too well your feelings of
disbelief that you will no longer hear his voice at
the other end of the phone. Time heals it's true
but its a very painful process. I look forward to
hearing your new solo album and I hope that you will
one day perform a concert in memory of your
wonderful and very talented brother.
Condolences to you and
all your family.
Corinna Wolfman
Robin,
I am very sad to hear about your brother's death. I have
always enjoyed your music since I was a small child in
South America. When I was growing up all my friends and
I liked to dance to Bee Gees music. I like all the
brothers, but to be honest, I like the twins most of
all, especially since now I have twins of my own. I do
not live in South America any more. Now I live in
Worcester, not too far away from Oxford, where you live,
Robin. I have played your music and watched your DVDs
for hours over the past weeks. It is hard to believe
that Maurice is no longer with us - he was so happy and
lively, so full of life and fun, it is really hard to
believe that he is gone. All my thanks for such a
wonderful catalogue of music and achievement goes to you
all. Please don't say goodbye, now go on to make more
beautiful music.
Sua Amiga,
Helena from Brazil
